Here are a few pictures from the First Light Event.  The pictures were taken from my phone so they appear a little fuzzy.  We had a great time and look forward to doing it again next year!  2009 will be a great year in Wake Forest as we celebrate all of the centennial celebration events to come.

 

   

 

 

First Light Wake Forest 2009 Schedule of Events

 

Join us at the first ever First Light Wake Forest scheduled to take place on December 31st, 2008 on South White Street in downtown Wake Forest. This is the town's new year's eve celebration along with the kick off of the town's centennial celebration. The town has put together what appears to be a good time for all including an early countdown for children!  Several downtown businesses are also planning to have special hours during the evening as well.

2:00 pm

South White Street/East Owen Avenue closed to traffic

 

6:00 pm

Bill Smith's Magic of Music Karaoke Begins at Municipal Parking Lot Gazebo
Wake Forest Spacewalk Inflatables Open
Climbing Wall Opens
DJ / Contests – MainStage

 

6:15-6:45 pm

Will McBride Group Performs on Main Stage (Set 1)
